Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your information when you ask us for water damage restoration help.
Last updated July 2026
FloodGuard Pros ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our phone line, how we use it, and the choices you have. By contacting us for water damage restoration help or using this site, you agree to this policy.
The short version
What we collect
Your contact details, the service request you make, call information, and standard site analytics.
How we use it
To connect you with a restoration crew, respond to you, and operate and secure the service.
Who we share with
The matched restoration company and our service providers — never sold for unrelated marketing.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you request help, and some information automatically:
- Contact details — your name, phone number and email address when you call or email us or submit a request.
- Service details — information about your situation, such as your location, the type of water damage and property details, so we can connect you with the right crew.
- Call information — because our phone line uses call-tracking and routing technology, calls may be recorded and connection details logged for quality, routing and fraud prevention.
- Automatic data — standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring source, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To connect you with an appropriate independent restoration company in your area.
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the service you requested.
- To operate, maintain and improve this website and our service.
- To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse or security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share your information
We are a referral service, so sharing your request is core to what we do:
- Restoration companies. We share the details necessary to serve you with the independent, licensed restoration provider(s) matched to your request. Those companies use your information under their own privacy practices.
- Service providers. We use trusted vendors for call routing, hosting, analytics and similar functions, who process data on our behalf.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or for unrelated third-party marketing. However, our service works by connecting you with an independent restoration company, and we are paid a referral or advertising fee for that connection. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws, sharing your details with a partner company in exchange for consideration may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. If you are a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Utah resident, you have the right to opt out — see “Your choices and rights” below, or simply tell us not to pass your details on when you call.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site functions.
Data retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, call us at (888) 217-7423 or email help@floodguardpros.com. You can stop marketing messages at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or replying STOP to texts.
Children
This site and service are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Why the first call matters
The first-hour match — water damage is priced by the hour it sat, not by the hour you called
Standing water stops being the problem within a day. What it leaves behind — saturated drywall, wet insulation, a subfloor that keeps giving moisture back into the room — is what the invoice is actually made of, and it grows while the house looks calm.
That is not a failure of homeowners who waited. It is how the trade is arranged: you call a company, it comes when its schedule allows, and the clock keeps running in between. Our line is open every day of the year, and the call reaches an independent licensed and insured restoration company that covers your area now rather than tomorrow. We do not do the work ourselves — we are paid for the introduction, which is set out in how we make money.
Two things decide what this costs, and both are settled in the first hours. Moisture readings and photographs taken before anything is torn out are what an adjuster later accepts or disputes, and mold needs only a day or two of damp material to start. Neither waits for an appointment. And if the water came from outside — a river, a storm surge, groundwater — say so on the call. That is flood, a separate policy that a homeowners policy does not cover, and you should hear it from us before anyone arrives rather than after.
